This role provides strategic financial management to support property development, construction, property investment, and hospitality operations. Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management reports, consolidated financial statements, Bursa Quarterly Reports, and project financial analyses in compliance with regulations, taxation laws, and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage tax planning, computation, and filing (CP204/CP204A & Borang C) ensuring compliance with tax laws and incentives.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, project financing, and monitoring loan covenants.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a managerial role (preferably in property development or construction).
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, Bursa Malaysia, Companies Act 2016, and taxation regulations.
  • Experience in project accounting, feasibility studies, and financial modeling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
